Waidhan Pond Deepening & Restoration Drive

Help Foundation participated in a Pond Deepening and Restoration Drive at Waidhan on 20 May 2016, bringing together volunteers, community members and local stakeholders for a collective environmental conservation initiative.

The activity focused on improving the condition and water-holding capacity of the local pond through deepening, restoration and community participation. Volunteers gathered at the site and worked collectively to support the rejuvenation of the water body, highlighting the importance of conserving traditional water resources.

The initiative aimed to promote water conservation, environmental awareness and community ownership of local natural resources, while encouraging citizens to actively participate in efforts to restore and protect water bodies in the Singrauli region.
