On the occasion of the 2nd International Yoga Day, Help Foundation actively participated in the district-level celebration held at Chun Kumari Stadium, Waidhan, Singrauli, on 21st June 2016. The event was organised in collaboration with the district administration and brought together government officials, healthcare professionals, educational institutions, social organisations, volunteers, and citizens to promote the practice of yoga as a pathway to healthier living.
Help Foundation volunteers joined hundreds of participants in the mass yoga session, performing various yoga asanas and breathing exercises under the guidance of trained instructors. The programme emphasised the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life to improve physical fitness, mental well-being, emotional balance, and overall quality of life.
The event highlighted the role of yoga in preventing lifestyle-related diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, stress, anxiety, and other chronic health conditions.
